Lucas DOE is a seasoned financial executive whose business experience spans two continents: Africa and the Americas. Lucas earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana (his home country). He ran British American Tobacco’s manufacturing facilities in Ghana and Zimbabwe for several years before heading to the U.S. to pursue his graduate studies.
After graduating from University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business and Graduate School of Electrical Engineering, Lucas held a variety of finance and management roles at Heron Financial Group, Grandwood Securities, and FairPoint Communications.
Lucas is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds NASD licenses in Series 7, 63 and 79. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and Boston Security Analysts Society.
